Description
Air fryer chicken meatballs are juicy on the inside and golden-brown on the outside, packed with cheesy, herby goodness.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
2. Using your hands or a small scoop, shape the mixture into evenly sized meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
3. Set your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and let it preheat for 3 minutes.
4. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
5. Let the air fryer chicken meatballs cool slightly and serve with your favorite dipping sauce, pasta, or salad.
Notes
Be gentle when mixing the ingredients to avoid overworking the meat.
Keep meatballs similar in size for even cooking. Adjust cooking time if needed.
The breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese help keep the meatballs moist and flavorful. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
