Description
Enjoy crispy, juicy air fryer chicken tenders that are easy to make and bursting with flavor!
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Oil spray for greasing
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat: Start by heating your air fryer to 400°F.
2. 2. Prep the Breading Station: Set up a breading station with three separate bowls. In the first bowl, mix the flour with the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In the second bowl, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
3. 3. Coat the Chicken: Dredge each chicken strip first in the seasoned flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to help the breading adhere.
4. 4. Arrange and Spray: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Arrange the breaded chicken strips in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the basket. Spray the tops of the chicken strips with a light coating of oil spray.
5. 5. Cook: Air fry the chicken tenders for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
6. 6. Serve: Remove the air fryer chicken tenders from the basket, let them rest briefly, and then serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven at 400°F for 5–7 minutes for maximum crispiness.
