Delicious Air Fryer Tofu Recipe: A Step-by-Step Guide
Ingredients
- 14 ounce firm tofu
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Press Tofu: Drain the tofu and press it for 15–30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
2. Cut into Cubes: Slice the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
3. Marinate the Tofu: Whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Toss the tofu cubes in the marinade and let sit for 10–15 minutes.
4. Add Cornstarch: Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss until evenly coated.
5. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
6. Air Frying Tofu: Arrange the tofu cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
