Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough (about 13.8 oz)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat. Add the diced onions and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Mix the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, chopped bacon, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle. Cut the dough into smaller rectangles, about 4×6 inches.
- Fill the Rolls: Place a generous amount of the bacon cheeseburger filling in the center of each dough rectangle. Be careful not to overfill.
- Roll and Seal: Roll the dough tightly around the filling, pinching the ends to seal them securely. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm with extra ketchup or mustard for dipping!
Notes
- Be sure not to overfill the dough to ensure the rolls seal properly.
- For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of Italian seasoning or a few dashes of hot sauce to the filling mixture.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
