Description

Elevate your game day or party menu with the irresistible combination of Bacon Jam Cheeseburger Sliders! These bite-sized burgers blend juicy beef, gooey cheese, and a sweet-savory bacon jam for an unforgettable flavor explosion.

Ingredients

  • Slider buns
  • Ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • American cheese
  • Chopped bacon
  • Diced onions
  • Brown sugar
  • Bourbon
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Maple syrup
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder

Instructions

1. Cook the chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, reserving some of the bacon grease.

2. Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté until soft and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

3. Add brown sugar, bourbon, apple cider vinegar, and maple syrup. Simmer until it thickens into a jam-like consistency, about 10-15 minutes. Stir the cooked bacon back into the jam and set aside.

4. In a large bowl, mix ground chuck with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until just combined. Shape into small, slider-sized patties.

5. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat, add a bit of cooking spray, and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side. Add a slice of cheese on top during the last minute to melt.

6. If desired, toast the slider buns lightly. Assemble by placing a cheesy burger patty on the bottom bun, topping it with bacon jam, and closing with the top bun.

Notes

Bacon jam can be made a few days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Reheat before using to restore its spreadable consistency.
