Description

BBQ Pulled Pork Cheese Bombs are the perfect combination of smoky pulled pork, gooey melted cheese, and a crispy biscuit crust. Easy to make and deliciously satisfying, these cheesy bombs are ideal for parties, game days, or any casual get-together. With BBQ sauce, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese all wrapped up in fluffy biscuit dough, these bite-sized treats will surely impress your guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pulled pork, cooked and shredded

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Cooking spray

  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Mix Filling: In a large bowl, combine shredded pulled pork and BBQ sauce. Stir in shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese until well mixed.

  • Prepare Dough: Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit to form a small circle.

  • Fill & Wrap: Spoon a generous amount of the pulled pork mixture into the center of each biscuit. Fold the edges over and pinch to seal tightly.

  • Season & Arrange: Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper over the top of each cheese bomb. Arrange them seam side down on a greased baking sheet.

  • Bake: Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked through.

  • Garnish & Serve: Remove from the oven, let them cool slightly, and garnish with chopped parsley (optional). Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you want to make these ahead of time, prepare them up to step 5, cover them, and refrigerate. Then, bake them the next day for a quick snack!

  • You can also freeze the cheese bombs before baking. Just pop them in the freezer, and when you’re ready, bake them straight from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.

  • Feel free to swap in different cheeses or add extra seasonings, like smoked paprika, to customize your cheese bombs.
