Description
Bloody Red Velvet Popcorn is a delightfully decadent snack that’s as fun to make as it is to eat. This vibrant, crimson-colored popcorn is the perfect centerpiece for any Halloween party or movie night.
Ingredients
- 10 cup popped popcorn
- 1/2 cup red velvet chocolate melts
- 1/4 cup red syrup
Instructions
1. Start by popping your popcorn using your preferred method. Once you have 10 cup of freshly popped popcorn, transfer it to a large mixing bowl.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the red velvet chocolate melts in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
3. Pour the melted chocolate over the popped popcorn and gently toss until each piece is evenly coated.
4. Drizzle the red syrup over the chocolate-coated popcorn and mix gently to create a swirled appearance.
5. Spread the popcorn onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and allow it to set for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Adjust the amount of red syrup to your desired level of “bloodiness.”
