Breakfast Grilled Cheese takes the classic comfort food to a new level, combining scrambled eggs and crispy bacon with gooey cheese.
Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread
 - 8 slices of bacon
 - 8 large eggs
 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter
 - 1/4 cup milk
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
Instructions
1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
2. Scramble the eggs by whisking together with milk, salt, and pepper, then cook in a nonstick pan until just set.
3. Assemble the sandwiches with scrambled eggs, 2 slices of bacon, and 1/2 cup of cheese on 4 slices of bread, then top with remaining bread.
4. Grill the sandwiches in a skillet with melted butter until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use thick-sliced bread like sourdough or Texas toast.
