Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and let it heat up.
2. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until it’s browned and crumbly, breaking it apart as it cooks.
3. Next, add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is softened. Then, stir in the halved Brussels sprouts and the optional red pepper flakes.
4. Pour in the chicken broth, cover the skillet, and let the Brussels sprouts cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they’re tender.
5. Finally, stir in the lemon juice and give the skillet a taste. Adjust any seasonings as needed, and you’re ready to serve!
Notes
Store any leftover skillet in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
