Description
Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs are a delicious appetizer or main dish combining ground beef, cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon, glazed with BBQ sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl.
2. Take a portion of the mixture, flatten it, and place cheddar cheese in the center.
3. Wrap the beef around the cheese to form a ball.
4. Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon and secure if needed.
5. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes.
6. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes of baking.
7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
To prevent cheese leakage, seal it tightly inside the beef.
Use a wire rack for even cooking.
Brush BBQ sauce towards the end of baking to avoid burning.
