Description

Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs are a delicious appetizer or main dish combining ground beef, cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon, glazed with BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl.

2. Take a portion of the mixture, flatten it, and place cheddar cheese in the center.

3. Wrap the beef around the cheese to form a ball.

4. Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon and secure if needed.

5. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes.

6. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes of baking.

7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

To prevent cheese leakage, seal it tightly inside the beef.

Use a wire rack for even cooking.

Brush BBQ sauce towards the end of baking to avoid burning.
