Description

Stuffed mushrooms are a culinary delight that effortlessly combines flavor and fun. These cheesy bacon cheeseburger stuffed mushrooms embody everything you love about a classic cheeseburger while offering a unique twist that makes them stand out. Tender mushroom caps are filled with a hearty mixture of ground beef, crispy bacon, and gooey cheese, making them perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large portobello or cremini mushrooms
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms by gently wiping them with a damp cloth. Remove the stems to create a hollow cavity for stuffing.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked (about 7-10 minutes). Drain any excess fat.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. Generously fill each mushroom cap with the cheesy bacon beef mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Once baked, sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, swap the ground beef for a plant-based meat substitute or finely chopped mushrooms.
  • Feel free to add diced jalapeños for a spicy kick or experiment with different cheeses like mozzarella or blue cheese.
  • These stuffed mushrooms can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
