  • Yield: 8 crescent bombs 1x

Description

These Cheesy Bacon Chicken Crescent Bombs are packed with shredded chicken, crispy bacon, and gooey cheddar cheese, all wrapped in buttery crescent roll dough. They’re the perfect quick and easy appetizer, snack, or even a fun dinner idea. Each bite is golden, cheesy, and absolutely irresistible!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Roll Out Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

  4. Fill & Fold: Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll them up tightly, starting from the wide end.

  5. Brush & Bake: Arrange the crescent bombs on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

  6. Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these cheesy bacon delights warm!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, brush the tops with a little melted butter before baking.

  • Swap cheddar for mozzarella or pepper jack for a different flavor twist.

  • Make it ahead: Assemble and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.

  • Leftovers? Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
