12 fresh jalapeños
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
6 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Wash the jalapeños, cut each in half lengthwise, and scoop out the seeds/membranes.
3. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, and crumbled bacon until smooth.
4. Spoon the cheese and bacon mixture into each jalapeño half.
5. Arrange stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
For a spicier version, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
Prepare ahead and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
Try grilling instead of baking for a smoky flavor.
