½ cup BBQ sauce
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
-
Prepare Potatoes: Slice the russet potatoes into spirals using a spiralizer or a knife, making sure not to cut all the way through.
-
Season Potatoes: In a bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss the sliced potatoes in the seasoning until well-coated.
-
Bake Potatoes: Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes or until crispy and golden.
-
Add Cheese & Bacon: Remove the potatoes from the oven, drizzle BBQ sauce over them, and stuff the cheese and crumbled bacon between the spirals.
-
Final Bake: Return the potatoes to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and become bubbly.
-
Garnish & Serve: Top with chopped green onions before serving and enjoy your delicious Cheesy BBQ Bacon Tornado Fries!
Notes
-
For extra crispiness, ensure the potato spirals are spaced out well on the baking sheet.
-
Feel free to substitute different cheeses like gouda or pepper jack for added flavor.
-
These fries are best served immediately after baking while the cheese is still melted and gooey.
