- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg (if using). Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce is smooth and thickened, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, ½ cup Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chopped spinach (if using). Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
