Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cup cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a baking sheet.

2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Stir until evenly distributed.

3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

4. Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each dough triangle. Gently roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and pinching the edges to seal. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and filling is hot.

6. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

7. Once baked, let the Chicken Pillows cool for about 5 minutes. Drizzle the Parmesan sauce over the top and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For an extra-crispy exterior, brush the tops with melted butter before baking.

You can incorporate sautéed vegetables like spinach or mushrooms into the filling for variations.
