Description

Indulge in the Delightful Flavors of Christmas Sugar Cookie Cheesecake. This show-stopping dessert combines the classic flavors of buttery sugar cookies and rich, creamy cheesecake, creating a festive treat that will delight your taste buds and impress your guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cup sugar cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup mini red and green candy-coated chocolate pieces
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 325°F.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar cookie crumbs with the melted butter until well-incorporated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan.

3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and heavy cream until fully incorporated.

4. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.

5. Turn off the oven, crack the door open, and let the cheesecake cool inside for an hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

6. Before serving, sprinkle with candy-coated chocolate pieces and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

This cheesecake pairs perfectly with hot chocolate or eggnog.
