Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 ounce each) green beans
- 1/2 pound bacon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels, crumble, and set aside.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
4. Place the drained green beans in the prepared baking dish. Pour the sauce over and toss to coat. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.
5. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened.

Notes
For a less sweet version, start with 1/3 cup of brown sugar and adjust to taste.
You can use frozen green beans; just thaw and drain them before use.
