Description
Creamy Cheesy Penne with Garlic Butter Ground Beef is a comforting pasta dish featuring al dente penne noodles tossed in a creamy, cheesy sauce made with heavy cream and shredded cheddar, infused with garlic-seasoned ground beef.
Ingredients
- 8 ounce penne pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to the package instructions until it reaches an al dente texture. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat from the pan.
3. Stir the minced garlic into the cooked ground beef and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the garlic becomes fragrant.
4. Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
5. Add the cooked penne to the skillet with the cheesy sauce and toss until the pasta is evenly coated.
6. Serve warm, garnished with extra shredded cheese or fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For the creamiest sauce, opt for sharp cheddar cheese. Choose lean ground beef to keep the dish lighter.
