Description

Get ready to indulge in a delightfully creamy, spicy-sweet pasta dish that will quickly become a new family favorite! Creamy Honey Buffalo Steak Pasta Bake combines tender slices of steak, perfectly cooked pasta, and a rich, velvety sauce infused with the bold flavors of buffalo sauce and honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak, cooked and sliced (sirloin or ribeye work best)
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni recommended)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups spinach (optional, for added greens)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Start by boiling the pasta in salted water until it’s al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside, ready to be combined with the other ingredients.

2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear the steak in olive oil over medium-high heat until it reaches your desired doneness. Let the steak rest, then slice it into thin strips.

3. In a large saucepan, combine the buffalo sauce, honey, and heavy cream over medium heat. Stir the mixture until it’s smooth and heated through.

4. Add the cooked pasta and sliced steak to the creamy buffalo sauce. Stir everything together until the pasta is evenly coated. Fold in the shredded cheddar, grated Parmesan, and spinach (if using) until the cheese is melted and the spinach is wilted.

5. Transfer the Creamy Honey Buffalo Steak Pasta Bake to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with additional cheese if desired. Bake the casserole at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until it’s bubbly and the cheese has melted and turned golden brown.

Notes

While penne and rigatoni are recommended, you can use other short, sturdy pasta shapes like fusilli or cavatappi. The key is to choose a pasta that can hold up well to the creamy sauce and hearty ingredients.

If you prefer a milder dish, start with 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce and gradually increase the amount to suit your taste. Conversely, for a spicier kick, add a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce to the sauce mixture.
