Crispy Air Fryer Potato Slices are a healthier, guilt-free alternative to traditional frying that delivers a satisfying crunch in every bite.
Ingredients
- 2 pound Yukon Gold potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
2. Wash the Yukon Gold potatoes and slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
3. Soak the potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
4. Pat the slices dry thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
5. In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and sea salt (and optional spices).
6. Arrange the seasoned potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
7. Air fry the potato slices for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden-brown and crispy.
Notes
Serve immediately with your favorite dips like ketchup or aioli. Garnish with chopped chives or dill if desired.
