Ingredients
-
4 large russet potatoes
-
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
-
½ cup ranch dressing
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
¼ cup chopped green onions
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
-
Prepare Potatoes: Wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries. Toss the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
-
Bake Fries: Spread the fries out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden and crispy.
-
Add Chicken & Bacon: Remove the fries from the oven. Top them with the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
-
Melt Cheese: Return the fries to the oven for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
Drizzle Ranch & Garnish: Remove from the oven. Drizzle the fries with ranch dressing and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
-
For a spicier twist, feel free to drizzle some hot sauce over the fries before serving.
-
You can also use pre-cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken to save time.
-
Make sure to flip the fries halfway through baking to ensure they cook evenly and get crispy on all sides.
-
For a dairy-free version, swap out the cheddar cheese and ranch dressing for dairy-free alternatives.
-
To make the fries extra crispy, you can fry them instead of baking them.
