Crockpot Kielbasa and Green Beans is a hearty comfort meal combining juicy smoked sausage, tender green beans, and hearty potatoes, perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends.
Ingredients
- 1 pound kielbasa sausage
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
1. Slice the kielbasa into 1-inch pieces.
2. Trim the ends off the green beans and halve the baby potatoes.
3. Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
4. Layer the sliced kielbasa in the bottom of the crockpot.
5. Add the green beans, followed by the halved baby potatoes.
6. Sprinkle the chopped onion and minced garlic over the top.
7. Pour in the chicken broth.
8. Dot the top with pieces of butter and sprinkle on the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
9. Cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or on LOW for 6-7 hours until potatoes are fork-tender.
10. Garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize by adding other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
For a creamier texture, add a bit of butter.
