Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup BBQ sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 pre-made deep-dish pie crust
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon mustard (optional)
1 beaten egg (for brushing crust)
Instructions
1. Cooking the Filling: Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain fat. Stir in BBQ sauce, mustard (optional), salt, and pepper.
2. Preparing the Crust: Press pie crust into a deep-dish pie plate.
3. Assembling the Pie: Spoon beef mixture into crust; top with shredded cheddar.
4. Baking the Pie: Brush crust edge with beaten egg. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 min, until crust is golden and cheese bubbly. Rest 10 min before slicing.
Notes
