Ingredients
-
3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
-
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
-
1 cup granulated sugar
-
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
-
Unroll each crescent dough sheet and press the seams together to form a rectangle.

Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough sheets.
-
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, then generously sprinkle over the buttered dough.
-
Roll up each sheet jelly-roll style from the short side.
-
Cut each roll in half lengthwise to expose the layers.
-
Twist each piece and coil into a muffin tin slot, with the cut side facing up.

Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
-
For a variation, add chopped nuts or chocolate chips into the cinnamon sugar mixture for added flavor.
-
