Ingredients
36 classic Oreo cookies
8 oz cream cheese, softened
12 oz white chocolate or candy melts
Red, white, and blue sprinkles
Gel food coloring (optional)
Instructions
1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
2. Mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until smooth and combined.
3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
4. Chill the balls in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm.
5. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts. Add food coloring if desired.
6. Dip each ball in the melted chocolate and place back on the parchment.
7. Sprinkle with red, white, and blue sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
8. Chill again for 30 minutes to 1 hour until chocolate is firm.
Notes
Use full-fat cream cheese for the best texture.
Chilling before dipping prevents the balls from falling apart.
Work quickly with the chocolate to ensure a smooth coating.
Store finished Oreo balls in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
