  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Grease a 9ร—13-inch baking dish for the scalloped potatoes.
  • Make the Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes:
    In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
    Layer the thinly sliced potatoes in the greased baking dish and pour the cream mixture over them. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan over the top. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
    Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is golden brown.
