For the Breadsticks:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast

  • ¾ teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • ½ cup warm water

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder (optional)

For the Topping:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Add the olive oil and warm water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then cover it and let it rise for 30 minutes.

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Roll the Dough: Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangular shape.

  • Top the Breadsticks: Brush the dough with melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder (optional), mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese. Add oregano or Italian seasoning if desired.
