  • ½ cup hot fudge sauce, warmed

  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.

  4. Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients: Alternate adding the dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture. Stir in the hot fudge sauce and chocolate chips.

  5. Bake the Bread: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  6. Cool Completely: Allow the bread to cool completely in the pan.

  7. Add Fudge Topping: Drizzle warm hot fudge sauce over the top of the bread, and sprinkle with chocolate chips and optional chopped nuts.
