Ingredients
- 12 jalapeños, sliced in half lengthwise and seeds/membranes removed
- 8 ounce cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoon green onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 6 ounce bacon, cooked and chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and use a spoon to carefully remove the seeds and membranes.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced garlic, salt, pepper, chopped green onion, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped bacon. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated and the filling is smooth.
4. Generously fill each jalapeño half with the creamy cheese mixture.
5. Arrange the stuffed jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
