Keto Beef and Mushroom Casserole: A Comforting Low-Carb Delight
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes.
3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until it’s browned and cooked through, approximately 7-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
4. Stir in the sliced mushrooms, beef broth, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender.
5. Transfer the beef and mushroom mixture to a greased 9×9-inch baking dish. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
