- 1 cup sliced mushrooms

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well-incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan or on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
- While the meatloaf is baking, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until tender and lightly browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir to create a roux. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Slowly pour in the beef broth while whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 to 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice the meatloaf and serve with the mushroom gravy generously spooned over the top.
