Description

One-Pan Bacon Alfredo Tortellini is a creamy, crispy dream come true! This indulgent recipe combines tender cheese tortellini, crispy bacon, and a rich Parmesan Alfredo sauce in just one pan. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, this dish is sure to become a family favorite with its irresistible flavors!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the skillet and crumble into small pieces. Set aside.
  • Cook the Tortellini: In the same skillet, add the butter and melt over medium heat. Add the tortellini (fresh or frozen) and sauté for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned on all sides. Add 2 cups of water (or chicken broth for extra flavor), cover, and cook according to package instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes.
  • Make the Alfredo Sauce: Once the tortellini is cooked and the water is mostly absorbed, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the Bacon: Add the crumbled bacon back into the skillet, stirring to combine everything together until evenly mixed and heated through.
  • Serve: Serve your One-Pan Bacon Alfredo Tortellini hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley for a touch of freshness and color.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or milk.
  • If you prefer more bacon flavor, feel free to add extra slices.
  • This recipe is perfect for using up leftover bacon or tortellini!
  • You can also add vegetables like spinach or peas for added nutrition.
