Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cup sliced apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, salt, and flour until crumbly. Press half into the prepared pan for the crust.
3. Toss sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg, then spread over the crust. Drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
4. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the apple layer.
5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and apples are tender.
6. Cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Best served at room temperature or slightly warmed. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or 1 week in the refrigerator.
