Ingredients
- 2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
1. Trim excess fat from the chicken and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
2. In the slow cooker, whisk together chicken broth and cream of chicken soup until smooth.
3. Place seasoned chicken into the slow cooker and ensure it is submerged in the sauce.
4. Sprinkle dried parsley on top.
5. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 4-5 hours until chicken is tender.
6. In the last 30 minutes, fold in sour cream if using.
7. Serve the chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
