Description
Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak is the ultimate comfort food dish, featuring tender beef patties simmered in a rich garlic herb gravy.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet dry au jus mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, half of the onion soup mix, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined, then shape into 6 oval-shaped patties.
2. Lightly dredge the patties in the all-purpose flour. In a skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the patties on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, the remaining onion soup mix, the au jus mix, the water, thyme, and rosemary.
4. Place the browned patties into the slow cooker and pour the garlic herb gravy mixture over the top. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until cooked through and tender.
5. Serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
