Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups frozen tater tots

Cook the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and add the chopped onion. Cook until the onion is softened, about 3 minutes. -
Make the BBQ Sauce Mixture:
Stir in the BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat. -
Prepare the Casserole:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and milk. Stir in the beef mixture and half of the crumbled bacon. -
Assemble the Casserole:
Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer the tater tots on top of the beef mixture. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the tater tots. -
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown. -
Finish and Serve:
