  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup ketchup

  • ¼ cup yellow mustard

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 4 hamburger buns

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Pickles and lettuce for topping


Instructions

  • Cook Bacon: In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  • Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add diced onion and cook until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  • Brown Beef: Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through.

  • Combine Ingredients: Drain excess fat, then stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well and simmer for 10 minutes.

  • Assemble Sloppy Joes: Spoon the beef mixture onto hamburger buns and top with crispy bacon and shredded cheese.

  • Garnish & Serve: Add pickles and lettuce as desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
