Description

These Apple Pie Biscuits combine the warmth of homemade biscuits with the sweet comfort of apple pie filling. They’re easy to make, deliciously sweet, and perfect for any occasion. Whether for breakfast, dessert, or a snack, these cozy treats will steal your heart in every bite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup apple pie filling, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare the Apple Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the chopped apple pie filling with cinnamon and sugar. Stir until well combined.
  • Flatten the Biscuits: On a clean surface, flatten each biscuit slightly using your hands or a rolling pin to create a larger circle.
  • Fill the Biscuits: Spoon a small amount of the apple mixture onto the center of each biscuit. Fold the biscuit over the filling and pinch the edges to seal. Optionally, press the edges with a fork for a decorative touch.
  • Brush with Butter: Mix the melted butter with vanilla extract and brush over the tops of the biscuits for a golden, flavorful finish.
  • Bake: Place the filled biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Dust & Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra treat, serve these biscuits with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  • If you want to make them even sweeter, add a dash of nutmeg to the apple mixture.
  • You can use homemade biscuit dough if you prefer a from-scratch approach!
